San Francisco (CA,USA) is currently trialling QR codes on a large scale. Over 500 shops businesses and restaurants which have been reviewed by Citysearch are showing QR codes in their windows in a joint effort by CitySearch and Antenna Audio. Passers by who scan the QR code will be taken to the CitySeerch website where a review on the business will enable them to make a decision on whether they enter the shop / restaurant / business.
